BuildTrack - Construction Workforce Attendance Platform

Problem

Construction projects often still rely on manual attendance tracking, which makes monitoring slow, inconsistent, and vulnerable to errors or manipulation such as proxy attendance. Project managers also face difficulty tracking workers across multiple sites, validating whether attendance is recorded from the correct location, and preparing attendance reports quickly.

Solution

BuildTrack solves this by providing a digital workforce attendance system with an Android app for field workers, a web-based admin dashboard, and a centralized backend platform. Workers can check in and check out using photo verification and GPS validation, while admins can monitor attendance in real time, manage projects and workers, and review attendance records, photos, and location data from one system. This improves accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency in construction workforce management.

Outcome

The project demonstrates an end-to-end production-style workforce attendance platform covering mobile field operations, admin monitoring, backend services, role-based access control, project assignment, attendance records, photo evidence, and location-aware verification.
